Yes, the whole cottage. Some girls have all the luck!
Welcome!
Hi! I'm Rochelle and welcome to BCS! This blog is a compilation of inspiring tips and ideas for craft spaces. Most of these are my finds from my own search for ideas and inspiration. All posts are linked to the sites or blogs where I found them. If I missed to link a post and it happens to be from your site or maybe you know the original source, please let me know and I'll link up! :)
In case you haven't known and have been wondering for the longest time but are too embarrassed to ask, "shabby chic" is simply an interior design theme of vintage with a touch of a feminine feel (hence the word "chic").
And because we all agree (or at least most of us do) that a little frill and girlyness never hurt, let's be inspired!
Have you ever considered buying display fixtures from closing shops to use as storage spaces for your growing art stash? It's an amazing solution to your storage problems! Not that I'd ever pray for any store to close though, that's just mean. Let's just say a store closed because it's owner decided to change businesses or move to greener pastures, okay? No wishing bad fortune for anyone. As I was saying, closing shops usually put all their furniture and fixtures on sale so everything can go. And they always sell them at bargain prices.
I think that has got to be my favorite quote. :) Perhaps as an excuse for my messy craft table or perhaps because it tells me I'm not the only messy craftie in the world. Surely, the one who made the quote up wasn't!
So.. inspired by that picture, here's a digi treat for everyone who can relate to it.
Click and save away, people! If you can show us a photo of what you came up with it, that would be totally cool. You can have that printed and framed just like in the photo or you can simply use it for your cards and layouts. :) For personal use only please.
And then there are some of us who are lucky enough to own something BETTER than a craft room!! What's better than a craft room? Why, a craft cottage of course! And no complains if it's in a corner of a beautiful garden too! Lucky you, Marlena!
It's B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
Seriously, I think I fainted a little when I saw this!
