Calm, Cool and Country

I don't know exactly why but nowadays when I hear or think of the word "country" my mind immediately comes up with an image of Scotty and Lauren! LOL They're just sooo cute together! I love both to pieces!

Ok, back to crafting. We've got another room makeover!! Yay! This time, it's from Gentri Lee.

BEFORE

AFTER

I think she did an excellent job! I love the splashes of red here and there and the calming effect of the turquoise and white, kind of neutralizes the fiery red. :) Everything looks really calm, cool and country to me and I love it!

Gentri did this in two posts. The "BEFORE" word is linked to the first while the "AFTER" will take you to the second. Have fun, people! :)

A Little Off the Beaten Path

In one of my daily scouring of the net to come up with something to share with you guys, I saw this pretty, princessy bedroom and I just really, really felt the need to share!

Cute right? Look closely and you'll see this is for two to three girls! There's another bed at the "second floor". And the shelves, oh the shelves.. *dreamy look* The whole thing saves on space too! I would think about the headroom for the bigger bed though.. You wouldn't want your little princess bumping her head every time she wakes up. :)

I'll be back to my crafty posts in a bit! :)

Clarely Organized!

Want more organization tips? Grab a few ideas from Clare!

Enjoy sorting! ;)

Sew Pretty!

I envy people who can sew.. Me and Mr. Needle are not on speaking terms. At least for now.. Who knows? One day, you might find me putting up another blog on sewing, offering patterns for download and tutorials on tips and techniques! You might even see one or two of my works in quilting magazines! And I will get to be interviewed by Martha! Okay, I went a little too far with that last one.. Back to earth. It could happen, you know.. Not in this lifetime, though..

See more of Sarah and Lisa's pretty sewing room here. What about you? Do you sew?

Another Creative Closet

Oohhh! I'm in love with this closet! I love the colors, the inspiration wall, the way things are so organized and the way it feels so "homey"! Love, love, love it! Of course, this would never do for me since I'm so messy and I would probably end up not seeing my table on most days. But still.. it's so charming, isn't it?

See Sharilyn's post here. And if you love printables and downloadable patters, you definitely want to visit her blog. *hint* *hint*

Have a happy day!

Let There Be Light

And there was light.

I love Monique's room.. I love how organized it is. I love seeing how much stuff she has. I love her shelves. I love everything, actually! But what I love most of all is the amount of natural light the room gets. Soo nice!

Creative Closet

Someone took pity on me and decided to help me by sharing an inspiring craft space! :)

Vickie is a passionate scrapbooker who loves making pre-made scrapbook layouts and selling them on her Etsy shop. When she found out about BCS, she decided to share a post she made a while back about her daughter's craft room. Yep, her daughter Tiff also scraps! Mother and daughter do one heck of a job at it too!

Vickie's:

Tiff's:

So pretty right?? I'm not much of a scrapper, I'm more of a card-maker, but I do know a gorgeous layout when I see one!

And finally here is Tiff's craft room..

Check out Vickie's post for a detailed tour!

Lucky Girl

Gabbi is indeed one of us lucky girls, she has a husband fully supportive of what she does. :) The good man made her this!

Husbands are such blessings.. Especially when they make you craft rooms and let you have all the craft supplies you can hide.. *wink*

When Shelves and Baskets are Not Enough...

There's always the door!

Betcha never thought of using it for ribbons huh? Check out Clair's blog for more ideas.

I want to thank everyone who has joined my blog giveaway and my followers (old and new) too for your support! I've planned to message each and everyone of you to thank you personally especially those of you who are new here.. but my day job has been driving me nuts for the past days (I just got off a plane a few hours ago) and I haven't had as much time as I hoped I would.. Please know I'm grateful for your support and I'm always, always happy *and flattered* by your visits and comments. :)

Oh and if you have a craft room or any part of it you'd want to share, please do! You'll be saving me some precious minutes of looking for craft room ideas. lol PLUS, I would definitely prefer to feature anyone of you here than anyone else somewhere else. Dunno if that made sense. Anyhoodle, email me, rezzhelle(at)yahoo(dot)com. :)

Organization... An Everyday Battle

My crafting sessions usually involve a very predictable series of events: getting inspired, taking out my art stash and spreading everything on the table, snipping and gluing for hours, swearing when I can't find something I need, sighing with content when the project is done, looking at the mess I made, considering if I should clean up, then finally deciding to leave everything and go to bed instead. I know I always post about organizing and stuff but hey, I'm not gonna lie, I'm one messy craftie. Guilty. But that certainly doesn't mean I can't get inspired by rooms that are squeeky clean, right? I might get inspired enough to change habits. Yeah. But I'm not betting on it. Nope.

Tile-ish Blogger Award

I remember when I received my first *and only* Stylish Blogger Award. I was so excited I immediately thought of bloggers to award it to. :) I only wish I could award it to more than 8. I think all sidebars deserve that one little black button.

So I don't really have an award button but I really admire Kassidy's craft tile idea! Perfect for the craft room table or shelf! She's accepting orders, by the way.

Dee-I-Y

Not quite finished with Dee yet.. :) Here's another one from her blog, Books & Bits & Pieces.

Dee and her husband are bookworms and naturally can never have too many shelves. Hey, that sounds like us! At least for the "can never have too many shelves" part. That being the case, we all know for sure that shelves aren't really sold a dime a dozen like how I've always dreamed them to be. So Dee created a solution... Wooden boxes!!

Awesome! See her post to see how she went about it. :)

Photo Dee-light

Got a ton of favorite photos but not much of a scrapbooker? While placing them on picture frames is a fool-proof, hassle-free solution, you might want to try it the way Dee of Books & Bits & Pieces did.

I think it's really cute! :)

Because Martha Said So

Who else would come up with a tack-free message board other than Martha Stewart??

If you do the measurements right, this would be a perfect display rack for your cards! :) See details here.

Office vs Blogging

Hey, all! Short post today, office work is driving me nuts! Darn. Can I just blog for a living? Yeah. I wish..

Office vs. Blogging. Now that deadlines are making me crazy, no question, blogging wins this round. But I know the tables will turn when payday comes. teehee

Anyhoodle, I'm all smiles because we're having another craft room tour!

Dunno about you but I so HEART the aqua color scheme!!

And Audrey was Her Name..

Audrey has got to have one of the biggest hearts I know. Even before she got married, she already knew she would want to adopt a baby girl from China or from Ethiopia. And nothing deterred her. Not even the fact that she and her husband already had four of their own. :) Read about her inspiring post on adopting {and learning she was pregnant} here.

SO. On to the yummy craft room! I gotta tell ya, I love makeovers.

From a baby nursery..

To a crafter's sanctuary..

More pixies here!!

If that's the case...

Abby-utiful and Dreamy Room!

I think I've featured a part of Abby's dreamy, yummy craft room in one of my posts but I'm too lazy to check. I'm sure I haven't shown you the whole room though and you're missing half your life! So to spare you from the misery...

Swooooooooonnnnnn!!!!!!!!!! And she says it's still in progress!

Tip Time!

Don't want to have to open drawers for things you need almost every minute?

A Tip from Noodle-Head

This should also come in handy if you have kids who find drawers very interesting. Kids and sharp objects never go so well together.. :) See her post here.
